Microsoft Edge Will Soon Let You Send Tabs From Your PC To Android
[ad_1]
One of the features of Google’s Chrome browser is that you can send pages from your computer to your phone. This is useful if you have a website you were reading halfway and want to continue to read on your mobile device. Now it looks like Microsoft’s Edge browser will let you do the same with browser tabs.
According to a report from Windows Latest, it seems that Microsoft is testing out a version of its Edge browser where users can send a browser tab from their Windows 10 PC to an Android device. The concept works the same as the version in Chrome, where you can essentially pick up where you left off. This will require that users be signed into their Microsoft accounts on both devices.
This is actually pretty cool and it could give users more of a reason to make Edge their daily driver in terms of browser choice. To be honest, this feature doesn’t really come as a surprise. This is because the new version of Edge is built using Chromium, the same platform Chrome is built on, so both browsers sharing similar features and functionality is kind of expected.
That being said, we don’t know when this feature will be released to the masses. It is available in the latest version of Edge Canary, which is essentially a beta, so if you don’t mind taking it for a spin you can check it out.
