Next-Gen MacBook Air Could Come In iMac-like Colors

When Apple announced their brand new 24-inch iMac, they also unveiled the computer in a bunch of new color options that are reminiscent of the iMac G3 from the good old days. It now turns out that Apple could now apply that to its next-gen MacBook Air as well, according to leakster Jon Prosser.
In the latest video of FrontPageTech, Prosser claims that the source that provided him with accurate information about the first Apple Silicon iMac has told him that Apple could be developing colorful MacBook Airs as well. His source claims to have seen a prototype of a blue MacBook, and while his source was cryptic, Prosser believes that this could be the MacBook Air with the M2 chipset.
Apple introduced the first Apple Silicon MacBook Air back in 2020, so it stands to reason that a newer model could be in the works for later this year where it could be powered by the newer M2 chipset, which last we heard is currently in production. What’s interesting about this is that not too long ago, artist Ian Zelbo actually put together renders of a MacBook Air in different colors.
Those renders helped us imagine what a colorful MacBook Air lineup could look like, but whether or not the rumors will come true remains to be seen, so take it with a pinch of salt for now.
