Fujifilm X-H2 Could Be Launching With A Brand New Sensor
[ad_1]
The last flagship camera we saw from Fujifilm was the Fujifilm X-T4. The camera uses the X-Trans 4 sensor which was also used in other flagships like the X-T3, X-Pro3, and also the X100V. However, it seems that come 2022, Fujifilm could introduce a brand new sensor and the X-H2 could be the first to adopt it.
As you might have heard, the X-H2 is rumored for a launch in 2022, and now Fuji Rumors claims that the camera could be the first X-series camera in 2022 to adopt the brand new sensor. As Fuji Rumors points out, Fujifilm has in the past typically used its X-Pro series to introduce new sensors, but apparently that will change in 2022 where they will use the X-H2 instead.
Not much is known about this new sensor or the new processor that will accompany the camera, but hopefully it will be able to meet the demands of photographers. This isn’t to say that Fujifilm’s current sensors are bad, far from it, but we suppose it could always stand for improvement, especially given that the mirrorless market is rife with competition from the likes of Nikon, Canon, and Sony.
In any case, it seems like it will still be quite a while before the X-H2 launches, so just temper your expectations for now.
